Sub-4 Health is actively engaged in R & D and new product innovation. Much of the success enjoyed by Sub-4 Health has been due to a continuing commitment to progress in every way possible, including personal staff development. This includes a general ethos of business development and customer care excellence.

Areas of R & D include:

• A new measuring device for assessing pelvic torsion.
• A carbon fibre plate that may increase power per revolution of the cyclist foot via the pedal mechanism.
• Clifton is currently studying for his PhD, researching the effects of leg length inequality on pelvic mechanics.
• Clinical assessment techniques.
• Shoe testing for a major sports brand.
